We have created three different server setup options, so you can choose the one that best fits your situation. Or if your situation isn't covered, please contact sales for a custom order.

Option 1 - Plain Linux (install webmin or no control panel)

- RedHat Enterprise Linux, Fedora Core, CentOS & Debian Linux distributions supported.

- We will install all the available updates for your distribution including updating the kernel to the latest compatable version.

- We will configure the base system, including your hostname, system time, binding IP addresses and DNS servers if required.

- We will disable insecure services such as telnet and reconfigure SSH to make it harder for hackers to get in.

- We will install and configure APF Firewall, as well as several other security tools.

- We will remount your /tmp and other temporary directories to security harden them.

- We will install chkrootkit and configure it to scan your server for rootkits and send you reports on a regular basis.

- We will install phpSysInfo and MRTG so you can view system information and monitor the performance of your server and its internet connection.

- We can create basic scripts to make backup copies of your files and databases onto a FTP server on a regular basis. We can even provide some FTP space for an extra fee if you don't have any.

- We will also do various other security and performance enhancements on your server.

Option 2 - Plain Linux (install cPanel/WHM or Ensim Pro)

- RedHat Enterprise Linux, Fedora Core & CentOS Linux distributions supported.

- We will install the latest version of cPanel/WHM or Ensim Pro that is covered by your Licence.

- We will also include all the services listed in Option 1.

- We will configure your control panel software, as detailed in Option 3.

Option 3 - Linux with cPanel or Ensim Pro preinstalled

- We will fully update your control panel to the latest version covered by your licence.

- We will configure your control panel settings for performance, security and useability.

- We will install any skins and addons that you have licences for (e.g. install Fantastico and/or WHMXtra on cPanel).

- We will configure your control panel's backup system to backup your websites onto a FTP server. We can even provide some FTP space for an extra fee if you don't have any.

- We will also include all the services listed in Option 1.
